How to Get There

• Flying In: You will fly into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). It is a massive global hub for American Airlines and is also heavily serviced by Delta and Southwest Airlines. It is located just 7 miles from the downtown area (Center City).

• Airport Transit: Philadelphia offers fantastic public transit from the airport. You can board the SEPTA Regional Rail (Airport Line) directly from your terminal, which will drop you off right at Jefferson Station or Suburban Station in Center City in under 30 minutes. Alternatively, a rideshare is very quick if you prefer a direct drop-off.

Where to Stay

Wells Fargo Center is located in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. While you could stay near the airport or the Navy Yard, the absolute best strategy is to stay in Center City along Broad Street. This gives you unmatched access to the city's best dining, historic sites, and a straight-shot subway ride to the arena.

Budget/Mid-Range Options

• Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia: Located right in the upscale Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, this modern hotel is just a few blocks from a Broad Street Line station. It offers fantastic walkability to great restaurants and typically runs between 12,000 to 15,000 World of Hyatt points per night.

• Philadelphia Marriott Downtown: Situated right in the Market East district, this massive, highly reliable property connects directly to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and the transit hub at Jefferson Station. Redemptions usually range from 30,000 to 45,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.

Higher-End Options

Nearby Activities

• Independence National Historical Park: You cannot visit Philadelphia without seeing the historic district. Walk through Old City to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Museum of the American Revolution.

• Reading Terminal Market: Located right in Center City, this massive, historic indoor farmer's market is packed with incredible food vendors. Grab a classic roast pork sandwich from Tommy DiNic's or fresh Amish baked goods.

Pregame Food and Drink

• Xfinity Live!: Located directly in the parking lots of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, this massive 80,000-square-foot dining and entertainment venue is the undisputed epicenter of the pregame scene. It features multiple bars, a mechanical bull, and a 32-foot LED screen in the NBC Sports Arena section.

• Chickie's & Pete's (Packer Ave): Situated just blocks from the arena, this legendary flagship location is a Philly sports staple. It gets completely packed with 76ers fans grabbing beers, cheesesteaks, and their world-famous Crabfries before walking to the gates.

• McGillin's Olde Ale House: If you prefer to pregame in Center City before hopping on the subway, this is the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia (opened in 1860). It features cheap local draft beers, classic pub food, and an unmatched historic atmosphere.

Getting to the Event

• SEPTA Broad Street Line: This is the absolute best way to get to the game. Hop on the Broad Street Line (the Orange Line) anywhere in Center City and take it straight south. Get off at the NRG Station (the final stop on the line), which drops you off directly across the street from the Wells Fargo Center.

• Driving: If you choose to drive, the South Philadelphia Sports Complex features massive, sprawling surface parking lots that are shared with Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field. Parking is plentiful, but getting out of the lots after a close game can be heavily congested.

• Rideshare: There are dedicated Uber and Lyft pick-up and drop-off zones in the lots, but be prepared for heavy surge pricing and traffic bottlenecks as everyone tries to leave the complex at the same time.

Where to Sit at Wells Fargo Center

• The 76ers Bench: The home team sits in front of Section 102.

• Away Fans: If you are traveling to support the visiting team, you want to target Section 124, which sits directly behind the visitor's bench.  

• The Premium Club Experience: The Club Level (Sections C1-C24) offers an excellent premium setup. These seats grant access to exclusive, less-crowded concourses, upscale culinary options, and full-service bars. For an even closer premium view, look for Courtside tickets that grant access to exclusive event-level lounges.  

• The Sweet Spot: To get great lower-bowl energy without the massive center-court premium club prices, look at the lower-level corner sections, specifically Sections 105, 109, 117, or 121.

• The Budget Seats: The 200-level (upper deck) provides the most affordable tickets. 76ers fans in the upper bowl are notoriously loud and passionate. For the best balance of price and center-court views, aim for the lower rows (1-5) of Sections 202-204 or 212-214.
