Los Angeles Clippers Travel Guide: Intuit Dome

How to Get There

  • Flying In: You will fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It is one of the largest global hubs in the world and, crucially, is located just three miles from the arena in Inglewood.

  • Airport Transit: Because LAX is practically right next door, taking a quick 10-to-15-minute Uber or Lyft to a nearby hotel in Inglewood, El Segundo, or Culver City is by far your easiest and cheapest option.

Where to Stay

The Intuit Dome is located in Inglewood, sharing the massive Hollywood Park entertainment district with SoFi Stadium and the Kia Forum. You can stay right in the immediate airport footprint for pure convenience, or grab a hotel a few miles north in Culver City for a slightly more walkable, neighborhood feel. The area near the stadium does not provide a lot of tourism options so it is worth staying a bit further away to take advantage of the many opportunities LA has to offer.

Budget/Mid-Range Options

  • AC Hotel by Marriott Los Angeles South Bay: Located just a few miles south in El Segundo, this modern, European-style hotel is incredibly convenient to both LAX and the Intuit Dome. It features a great rooftop bar (Flora) and typically runs between 25,000 to 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.

  • Courtyard Los Angeles Westside: Situated just north in Culver City, this is a highly reliable option that places you close to excellent dining and a quick rideshare down to the arena. Redemptions usually range from 30,000 to 40,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.

Higher-End Options

  • The Shay, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel: Located right in the heart of the Culver City Arts District, this premium boutique hotel offers incredible design, a fantastic rooftop pool, and puts you right next to the Metro E Line for exploring the rest of LA. Expect redemptions to hover around 20,000 to 25,000 World of Hyatt points per night.

  • The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey: For the ultimate luxury weekend, this stunning 5-star waterfront property offers a resort-like atmosphere on the marina. It provides an incredible Southern California experience while remaining just a 20-minute rideshare from the arena gates.

Nearby Activities

  • Hollywood Park: The Intuit Dome is part of the massive 300-acre Hollywood Park redevelopment. You can literally walk across the street and take a guided tour of the $5 billion SoFi Stadium (home of the Rams and Chargers) on the morning of a game.

  • Manhattan Beach: Since you are already on the west side of Los Angeles, take a 15-minute rideshare down to Manhattan Beach. Walk the pier, grab some fresh seafood, and enjoy one of the cleanest, most picturesque beach communities in Southern California.

Pregame Food and Drink

  • The Intuit Dome Plaza: The absolute best place to pregame is literally at the arena. The Clippers built a massive 80,000-square-foot outdoor plaza that serves as the ultimate pregame destination. It features a full-size regulation basketball court, massive LED screens to watch early games, and several high-end bars and local food vendors.

  • Cork & Batter: Located just down the street near SoFi Stadium, this massive, three-level sports bar features a rooftop patio, great pub fare, and gets absolutely packed with sports fans before any event in Inglewood.

  • Century Bar and Grill: Located inside the Hollywood Park Casino right next to the arena footprint, this is a great, highly convenient spot to grab a quick beer and a burger before walking over to the gates.

Getting to the Event

  • Metro (Free Shuttle): The city recently expanded the Metro K Line. You can take the train to the Downtown Inglewood Station, where dedicated, free shuttle buses run continuously to the Intuit Dome plaza on game days.

  • Rideshare: There is a highly organized Mobility Hub located right at the Intuit Dome specifically designed for Uber and Lyft drop-offs, making the rideshare commute incredibly smooth despite the heavy Inglewood traffic.

  • Driving: The arena features multiple massive, highly automated parking garages (including the West Garage and East Garage). If you drive, you must use the official Intuit Dome app to pre-book parking, as the entire stadium relies heavily on automated, app-based entry and payment systems.

Where to Sit at Intuit Dome

  • The Clippers Bench: The home team sits in front of Section 8 (specifically Club 8 and Courtside 8).

  • Away Fans: If you are traveling to support the visiting team, you want to target Section 10 (Club 10 and Courtside 10), which sits directly behind the visitor's bench.

  • The Wall (Warning): The most famous feature of the Intuit Dome is "The Wall"—a massive, uninterrupted 51-row section (Sections 1-3, 31, and 32) dedicated strictly to hardcore Clippers fans. Do not buy tickets here if you are an opposing fan. The team strictly enforces a rule prohibiting any opposing team gear in these sections, and you will be relocated or removed from the section if you break it.

  • The Premium Club Experience: The Bungalow Suites and Club Level seats provide the ultimate luxury setup. These tickets offer prime lower-bowl views and access to high-end, all-inclusive lounges, featuring some of the most technologically advanced amenities in sports.

  • The Budget Seats: The Terrace Level (T-Sections) provides the most affordable tickets. Because the Intuit Dome was specifically designed as a basketball-only arena (unlike multi-purpose venues built for hockey), the upper deck sightlines are exceptionally tight and intimate. To ensure the best value and a perfect center-court perspective, target Sections T9, T10, T24, or T25.
