How to Get There

• Flying In: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is an absolute behemoth of a global hub. The massive advantage for football fans is that it sits a mere four miles west of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, making your flight-to-stadium commute incredibly fast.

• Airport Transit: LAX traffic is legendary. Renting a car is highly recommended if you plan to explore the sprawling LA metro area or head out to the coast. If you are just staying for a quick football weekend, relying on Uber or Lyft to get from the airport to a nearby hotel is completely viable.

Where to Stay

Because SoFi Stadium sits in the massive Hollywood Park development in Inglewood, you can stay near the airport for ultimate convenience, or head slightly north into Culver City for a more walkable, neighborhood feel with great dining.

• The Chargers VIP Tailgate: For a premium pregame experience, check out this officially partnered tailgate located right in the Hollywood Park Casino lot bordering the stadium. It features soft white leather couches, large LED screens, an open top-shelf bar, and an all-you-can-eat menu designed by Food Network celebrity chef Aaron May.

• Pepsi Tailgate Central: If you want to party with the "Bolt Fam," head to the Hyundai Pink Lot right outside the stadium. This massive, highly social zone features live DJs, fan activations, and a great atmosphere to grab a beer before walking through the gates.

• Cork & Batter: Because SoFi is surrounded by massive parking lots and a developing campus, immediate walk-up bars are sparse. However, this massive, multi-level sports bar sits just outside the stadium footprint on Century Blvd. It is an elite, high-energy hub packed with fans grabbing drinks before heading to the gates.

Getting to the Event

• Driving: SoFi Stadium features a massive ring of color-coded parking zones. You absolutely must pre-purchase your parking pass online well before game day. Driving around Inglewood on game day without a digital pass will result in getting turned away at every gate.

• Public Transit (The Metro): LA Metro offers a fantastic, free game-day shuttle. Take the Metro C Line (Green) to the Hawthorne/Lennox Station. From there, a free express shuttle drops you off directly at the stadium. This is the absolute best way to avoid expensive Ubers and traffic if you are open to public transportation in the area.

• Rideshare: There is a massive, dedicated Uber and Lyft zone on the north side of the stadium. While getting dropped off is easy, post-game surge prices are notoriously astronomical and wait times can be brutal.

Where to Sit at SoFi Stadium

SoFi Stadium is an architectural marvel. It features a translucent roof that protects from rain but still lets the California sun shine through, and it houses the "Infinity Screen"—a massive, dual-sided, 4k video board that hangs over the entire field.

• Beat the Heat: If you are attending an early-season game, you must understand the stadium's sun orientation. The sun sets behind the West Sideline (the Chargers' side). For maximum shade, look for tickets in Sections C106-C117, 212-227, or 315-331.

• Away Fans: The visitor's sideline is on the East side of the stadium. If you want to sit behind the away team, look for tickets in Sections 126-137. Local Tip: Because the sun shines directly on the East sideline for most of the afternoon, wear sunscreen and bring sunglasses!

• The VIP Club: If you want the absolute best luxury experience, look for VIP Club Seats (Sections 111-112 or 131-132). These sit right on the 50-yard line and offer exclusive access to ultra-premium field-level lounges.

• The Budget Move: Because of the massive 360-degree Infinity Screen, there is genuinely no bad seat in the house. The Upper Level Reserved Corner seats (500 level) are going to be the most affordable tickets. Just be aware that the translucent roof permits sunlight to penetrate the upper levels, so you may not escape the sun's rays even up high.
