Where to Sit

Visiting fans have several good places to sit, but they will also have to compete with the home fans because all of the seats behind the 49ers sideline are either club seating or suites, and the seats behind the visiting sideline are on the shadier side of the field. Fans who want to sit close to midfield behind the visitor's sideline will have to pay for club seating if on either the first or second level with sections C113-C117 the best options, though C115 is a special premium section which is tricky to get tickets to. These club seats are wider and padded, offer lounges with premium food, and private stadium entry, and rows 27-36 show the best views. The club seats directly above in sections C214-C217 have similar amenities as the lower club including private entrances, and the first 10 rows offer an ideal viewing angle of the field. Fans looking to avoid the price tag of club seats should sit in sections 111-112 and 118-119 that are close to the visiting sideline and have much better views of the action than the end zone seating, again with rows 27 and up having the best views. The best option for end zone seating is on the second level in sections 201-204 with good height of viewing the field and the opposite scoreboard without the goalpost and personnel obstructions from the lower level. Good sections for families or fans looking for convenience are 312-315 which are upper-level sections with decent views and only 8 rows per sections making access easy, though row 1 should be avoided due to a railing blocking views. The cheapest seats are in the 400s level which are higher up and in the sun but without end zone seats anywhere throughout the sideline is a reasonable option for fans on a budget, though there is a small standing room only section above one of the end zone, which can be a fun way to enjoy a game on a cheap ticket when good views are not important.
