How to Get There
Flying In: You have two excellent options. Miami International Airport (MIA) is extremely close to downtown. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is roughly 30 miles north but is heavily serviced by Southwest Airlines, providing great domestic alternatives.
Airport Transit: From MIA, you can take the MIA Mover to the Metrorail, which takes you right into downtown. However, a rideshare is very fast and efficient if traffic is light. From FLL, taking the Brightline high-speed train directly into downtown Miami (MiamiCentral Station) is an incredible, premium way to skip the highway gridlock.
Where to Stay
Kaseya Center sits right on Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami. Staying in the immediate downtown area or the adjacent Brickell neighborhood provides excellent walkability, stunning water views, and direct access to Miami's free automated transit system. Note that Miami Beach is not too far and staying there for a more relaxing vacation is very doable as well.
Budget/Mid-Range Options
YOTEL Miami: Located right in downtown, this tech-forward, modern hotel offers smartly designed, compact rooms and a fantastic rooftop pool deck. It is a very short walk to the arena and offers a vibrant, stylish atmosphere without the massive South Beach price tags.
Courtyard Miami Downtown/Brickell Area: A highly reliable, functional option situated just blocks from the arena and Bayside Marketplace. It places you perfectly in the downtown core, with redemptions typically ranging from 30,000 to 45,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.
Higher-End Options
InterContinental Miami: This is an iconic downtown property located just south of the arena right on the water. It features luxury rooms, an incredible spa, and the famous Toro Toro steakhouse. You can easily walk to the arena along the scenic Biscayne Bay paths.
JW Marriott Marquis Miami: Located right where downtown meets Brickell, this towering luxury hotel is packed with amenities, including a 19th-floor indoor basketball court and bowling alley. It is an elite sports travel home base. Redemptions generally require 50,000 to 70,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.
Nearby Activities
Bayside Marketplace: Located directly next to Kaseya Center, this massive open-air waterfront shopping and dining complex is perfect for walking around, grabbing a cocktail, and looking at the yachts docked in the marina.
Wynwood Walls: Take a short rideshare north to the Wynwood Arts District. It is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the country, featuring massive blocks of incredible, world-class street art murals, trendy breweries, and galleries.
Pregame Food and Drink
Lost Boy Dry Goods: Located in downtown, this expansive, laid-back bar is a local favorite. It offers great cocktails, a massive draft list, and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere before joining the arena crowds.
Julia & Henry's: Situated in a beautifully restored historic downtown building, this massive multi-level culinary and entertainment space features dozens of world-class food vendors, wine bars, and craft cocktail stations. It is an incredible place to grab a premium pregame meal.
Black Market Miami: If you want a traditional, high-energy sports bar experience, this downtown staple features plenty of screens, elevated bar food, and a loud atmosphere dedicated strictly to Miami sports culture.
Getting to the Event
Metromover: Downtown Miami features a completely free, automated people-mover system that runs on elevated tracks. You can hop on the Omni Loop and take it to the Freedom Tower Station or Park West Station, both of which drop you literally steps from Kaseya Center.
Walking: If you stay at the InterContinental, YOTEL, or anywhere in the immediate downtown footprint, the walk is incredibly easy, safe, and scenic, especially if you follow the waterfront paths along Biscayne Blvd.
Driving: Driving in downtown Miami can be chaotic. If you must drive, Kaseya Center offers on-site parking in the P2 Garage, but it is highly recommended to pre-purchase a spot or use the Bayside Marketplace garage next door to avoid surge pricing.
Where to Sit at Kaseya Center
The Heat Bench: The home team sits in front of Section 107.
Away Fans: If you are traveling to support the visiting team, you want to target Section 108, which sits directly behind the visitor's bench.
The Premium Club Experience: The Dewar's Club (Rows 1-10 in the lower bowl) offers one of the best VIP setups in the league. These highly desirable seats grant access to the exclusive Dewar's Clubhouse, featuring upscale dining and premium lounges right on the event level.
The Sweet Spot: To get great proximity without paying for the premium club rows, look at the corner sections just above the first 10 rows. Specifically, Sections 104, 110, 120, or 122 offer fantastic diagonal sightlines at a better value.
The Budget Seats: The 300-level provides the most affordable tickets. For the best balance of price and center-court views, aim for the lower rows of Sections 308-310 or 324-326. Avoid the 400-level if possible, as it is tucked very high up into the corners of the arena.
