How to Get There
The city of Houston has two major airports. The first is Hobby Airport (HOU) which is the smaller of the two, but is only 9.1 miles from Toyota Center. The second and larger airport is Bush Intercontinental (IAH) which is 21.6 miles from Toyota Center. Houston lacks major public transportation, so the best bet getting around would be to either use a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft, or rent a car from the airport where all major rental companies have options.
Where to Stay
The Houston Toyota Center is located in the heart of downtown Houston. It is located just a quick 0.3 miles from the massive George R. Brown Convention Center, making a Rockets game an excellent compliment to a work trip or conference in Houston. Due to the location there are many hotel options within walking distance of the arena to suit every need with luxury, great amenities, or simply just a bed if you are purely focused on attending a game.
Budget Options

Higher-End Options
Marriott Marquis - The newest high-end hotel in the downtown Houston area. Made famous by the unique rooftop lazy river in the shape of the state of Texas. This is a great hotel for someone who wants to relax outside during their trip, especially if travelling later in the season or for the playoffs when Houston is known to get very hot.
Hilton Americas - Although many hotels are close by, the Hilton is directly across the street from the stadium, giving fans an easy and quick walk to go to a game.
Four Seasons Houston - The only 5-star hotel in downtown Houston gives guests exactly what they expect from the high-end brand.
