Getting to Atlanta & The Ballpark
Truist Park is located in Cumberland, about 13 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta. Because of this, your transportation strategy is key.
Flying In: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is a massive hub. From many major cities there are quick, direct flights on Southwest or Delta into ATL.
The Rideshare Route: The stadium is about 23 miles from the airport. An Uber or Lyft is easy, but depending on surge pricing and distance, it can get expensive.
Public Transit: Atlanta's public transit does not have a dedicated rail stop at the ballpark. Your best bet is the Cumberland District Circulator bus, which has several stops near the stadium and surrounding areas.
Parking: Because Truist Park is outside the dense urban core, parking is plentiful. The Braves operate several official lots, and many surrounding private lots offer cheap rates and free shuttles right to the gates.
Where to Stay
While downtown Atlanta has great hotels, the commute to the stadium can be a hassle. For a baseball-focused trip, staying in the immediate Cumberland/Galleria area near The Battery is highly recommended.
Budget Options
Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Galleria: Located less than a mile from the park, this is perfect for budget travelers. It features a free daily hot breakfast, an indoor pool, and an easy, pedestrian-friendly walk to the game that avoids crossing under massive freeways.
Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Cumberland/Galleria: Just west of the ballpark, this is the ultimate family option. The all-suite rooms feature full kitchens to help save on food costs, and the hotel even offers a free grocery shopping service.
Higher-End Options
Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta: This sleek, upscale hotel is literally attached to the stadium footprint. It features an elevated 5th-floor pool deck with a bar that overlooks Truist Park. It is the absolute best option for fans who want to walk out the front door and immediately be in the center of the pregame action.
Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center: A larger, grander hotel located just under a mile away. It features a full-service spa, multiple restaurants, and easy access to local jogging trails. If you are looking to maximize the value of your credit card points, you can often book this for around 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night—an incredible redemption for a luxury stay.
Pregame Food and Drink
The Battery Atlanta is an incredible, vibrant entertainment complex right outside the stadium gates.
Casual Fan Favorites: Antico Pizza offers laid-back, Italian-style pizzas and specialty beer kegs on game days. El Super Pan is a fantastic, family-friendly Latin kitchen with a reasonably priced sandwich menu.
Southern BBQ: You cannot visit Atlanta without getting good BBQ. Head to Terrapin Taproom to pair Georgia-based microbrews with incredible plates from the famous Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q.
Upscale & Entertainment: Want to relax? CRU Wine Bar offers higher-end American fare and a massive wine list. Looking for high energy? Punch Bowl Social is a massive 25,000-square-foot complex with multiple bars, bowling, arcade games, and a great late-night menu.
Where to Sit at Truist Park
The Premium Experience: Sections 25-27 put you right behind home plate with access to the exclusive Delta SKY360° Club. You get climate-controlled lounges, light crowds, and all-inclusive food and beverages delivered right to your seat.
Great Views: For a fantastic side view of the field without the premium club price tag, look at Sections 116 and 133 down the baselines.
Away Fans: If you are cheering for the visiting team, grab seats in Sections 31-34 or 131-134. These smaller sections are right behind the visitor's dugout on the third-base side, giving you incredibly close access to your team.
The Budget Seats: The 400-level seats directly behind home plate offer a steep but excellent bird’s-eye view. Best of all, the massive roof shades this entire upper deck from pole to pole, making it the perfect budget-friendly escape from the infamous "Hotlanta" summer sun.
