Where to Sit
FedEx Field is known for having some of the most amount obstructed views in football, so be sure to check that before buying tickets with most of them found in the 200s level. Visiting fans should sit in sections 120-123 behind the visitor's sideline. These sections are not very steep, so sit in rows 19-28 to have the clearest view of the field. The 200s level here is not club and is still on the lower level of the field, so moving up to get cheaper tickets in sections 219-222 offers great value and clear views, but be sure to sit in rows 1-6 because higher up rows have to deal with pillars and overhang obstructions. Other good value on the lower level are seats in sections 231-233 behind the end zone that are cheaper than sideline seats, offer lower level views of the field and a straight-on view of the videoboard, and these only have 7 rows making all seats in each section easily accessible. The entire 300s level is club seating that has a great overhanging view with wide, padded seats, lounges, and a bonus of in-seat wait service. 321-322 are the prime seats in the level at midfield, but there is some value in sitting in the corner in section 314, where there are only 9 rows making it easy to get up and enjoy the lounges, and the section sits over the visiting team's tunnel.
Fans on a budget can sit in the upper level with sideline sections 426-427 giving the best views, and rows 1-3 are not only the closest to the field but in front of the entrance tunnel so a lot of fan obstruction is avoided. Fans on a budget should consider the standing room only areas in the top half of the 400 end zone sections. They are actually good value with the main downside standing all game, but they are assigned seats so there is no worry of being behind a group and each spot has its own railing. The first row of standing room is heavily recommended because it can be a bit hard to see, but overall it is a good option as these sections are smaller so the standing area is actually closer to the field than some of the higher-up sideline rows and each spot has a ledge to rest food and drink on.
