How to Get There

• Flying In: You will fly into Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). Located about 20 miles southwest of downtown, it is a massive hub for Delta Air Lines, making direct flights highly accessible from almost anywhere in the country.

• Airport Transit: DTW is heavily reliant on vehicle transit to reach the city. The most efficient way to get to your downtown hotel is to grab an Uber or Lyft from the terminal, which usually takes about 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic on I-94.

Where to Stay

Little Caesars Arena is the centerpiece of "The District Detroit," effectively bridging the downtown and Midtown neighborhoods. Staying right in the downtown core puts you within a short walk or streetcar ride of the arena, Comerica Park, and Ford Field.

• Element Detroit at the Metropolitan: Located right near Grand Circus Park, this beautifully restored historic building offers extended-stay comforts, modern design, and a free hot breakfast. It is a highly walkable location, and you can typically book it for 20,000 to 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night.

• Courtyard Detroit Downtown: Situated right next to the Renaissance Center, this is a highly reliable option that gives you easy access to the Detroit Riverwalk while keeping you connected to the city's transit options. • The Motown Museum: Visit "Hitsville U.S.A.," the legendary recording studio where Berry Gordy built the Motown empire and where legends like Stevie Wonder and The Supremes recorded their biggest hits.

• Harry's Detroit: Located practically in the shadow of Little Caesars Arena, this massive, classic sports bar is an absolute staple for Detroit fans. It features two levels, plenty of TVs, standard pub fare, and gets packed with basketball jerseys before tip-off.

• Mom's Spaghetti: If you want a unique, fast-casual Detroit experience, Eminem's famous spaghetti window is located right down Woodward Avenue inside The Alley Deck. It is a quick, fun stop for a pregame bite.

• Founders Brewing Co.: Located nearby in Midtown, this massive taproom from the famous Michigan brewery offers an incredible draft list, great deli-style sandwiches, and plenty of space to spread out with a group before walking to the game.

Getting to the Event

• The QLINE Streetcar: The QLINE runs directly up and down Woodward Avenue, connecting downtown to Midtown. It is completely free to ride, and the Sproat Street/Adelaide Street Station drops you off right at the front steps of Little Caesars Arena.

• Walking: If you are staying at a downtown property like the Shinola Hotel, walking straight up Woodward Avenue is incredibly easy, safe, and heavily populated with fans on game nights.

• Driving: If you choose to rent a car or drive in from the suburbs, you will be utilizing The District Detroit parking garages (such as the UWM Garage or the Temple West Garage). Pre-purchasing a parking pass via ParkWhiz or Ticketmaster is highly recommended to secure a spot and avoid circling the tight surface lots.

Where to Sit at Little Caesars Arena

• The Pistons Bench: The home team sits in front of Section 122.

• Away Fans: If you are traveling to support the visiting team, you want to target Section 120, which sits directly behind the visitor's bench.

• The Premium Club Experience: The Comerica Players Club offers the most exclusive VIP setup in the building. Located on the event level right behind the team benches (Sections 121-123), these tickets grant access to an all-inclusive ultra-premium lounge where you can watch the players walk through the glass tunnel from the locker room to the court.

• The Sweet Spot: Little Caesars Arena features a uniquely sunken lower bowl, which creates excellent sightlines. To get great proximity without paying center-court club prices, look for tickets in the lower-level corners, such as Sections 104, 114, 118, or 126.

• The Budget Seats: The 200-level provides the most affordable tickets. Because the arena also features a suspended "gondola" seating structure hanging over the court, the upper deck can feel incredibly steep and high up. To ensure a great view and minimize the climb, target rows 1-3 in center-court Sections 201-203 or 215-217.
